Easter Dinner Bags
During March distribution, we will provide each family with an Easter dinner bag. The bag will consist of the suggested items. We will be accepting Easter dinner bags from 8:00 - 4 PM on weekdays until March 15th.
Each Easter dinner bag should include canned pineapple, brown sugar, green beans, mashed or fresh potatoes, Jello or pudding, can of juice, boxed bread mix and an Easter card (can be homemade). It is optional to include a 4-7 lb ham. A gift card for a ham is fine also.
Working together we can provide a delicious Easter meal for the growing number of needy families in our community. Thank you for your support! |

FEINSTEIN CHALLENGE
For the 13th straight year, Project SHARE has been designated as a recipient of funds from the Feinstein Foundation, which contributes up to a million dollars every year to agencies all over the country that fight hunger.
The drive for qualifying funds is from March 1 through April 30th. Project SHARE is eligible for the maximum amount of $40,000. To receive the maximum, SHARE must come up with matching funds on its own during this period. Although monetary donations are best, we are also encouraging donations of non-perishable food items, which will count for one dollar each. Every donation counts!
The Feinstein Foundation was originated by Alan Feinstein of Cranford, R.I., who is also the founder of the Feinstein International Famine Center of Tufts University and the Youth Hunger Brigade, a program that teaches young people about the problems of hunger and ways to reduce it. Says Feinstein about the foundation's hunger drive: "This has become the greatest grassroots campaign ever to fight hunger in our country. Your donation makes you a partner in it with me." www.feinsteinfoundation.com |
